ABOUT THE METEORITE MEN

Geoff of Meteorite Men is a meteorite specialist, photographer and science writer and his meteorite hunting articles and photographs have appeared in Meteorite magazine, Astronomy, Rock & Gem, Sky & Telescope, Wired, Geotimes, Seed, Sci Q, and many other national and international publications. He is also a fellow of the world famous Explorer's Club.

Steve of Meteorite Men stunned the scientific community in the fall of 2005 when he discovered a 1,430-lb pallasite meteorite buried in a cornfield near Brenham, Kansas. It is the largest of its type ever found in North America. Pallasites are unique among meteorites as they are composed of iron-nickel and olivine crystals (the gemstone peridot).
